Rear hatch lock unlatching by itself

Has anyone had or heard of an issue with the rear hatch lock randomly unlocking/unlatching itself? Been having issues with it doing that, or not unlatching when I want the hatch to open. Not sure if it is a faulty latch or an electrical issue. Started off on days after it had rained, now it is happening all the time. It can be sitting in the driveway with everything off, keys in the house, and I can hear the lock cycling like it does when the unlocjk button is pressed on the fob.
2008 with 52K miles, think it is out or warranty.

I recently have been having problems with my rear hatch....I can not get it to open. Can you tell me what you did to solve your problem. Much Appreciated!

I took it to the dealer and let them mess with it. I did not have time to dig into it when this started happening. Ended up being $200 in labor, had the service guys stumped for a while, but they finally got it fixed.
