When, usually after the car has gotten the tranny temp up to 'operating temp.', you try to put the car into reverse... it doens't go in nice and smooth, it BANGS/JOLTS the car into reverse like a neutral drop.

My car does this from time to time. I'm thinking about doing the wolfman reverse fix this weekend.
