If math is set up for bar it would possibly be 3 or 4 digits. Psia 3 with decimal point. The scangauge ii has a manual for the custom PID reading. I'll look at it.

The baro PID you asked me to try may be baro after all. After I said it doesn't change I noticed it varying a few points. during the hurricane it went it's lowest. But the numbers are off.

That is why I had to walk through the addresses looking for trans temp, Internet info was wrong....at least for saturn's.

If I put in the math for GM vpw baro at that address I get 738. It's calling it inches of mercury. But the 9d is on scangauge's list for GM baro vpw coms

The scangauge is bydirectional I can look at places, but if the math isn't correct the return is gibberish

I've gone from 00 to 60 so far seeing what's in there....but left the math the same as...

That temp seems real to me on a short drive....5401 is the memory location I have the scangaugeII poll for information. I believe it's a mode 22 request

Address 5401 is the ram address for trans temp if helps figure out how it's mapped.

I knew the math was correct....so all I needed to do was clock through the memory untill the readings looked real and go from there.The scangaugeII is by-directional. I poled the PCM for supported...

I found the trans temp for autos by just looking a memory locations and picking a few that looked like winners then watched them and disconnected the sensor to find the correct one.
