Re: Astra 45k mile service - inexpensive & runs like new!

The Astra is so much quieter with the new flexpipe. That was an awesome upgrade.

Re: How To - A/C Compressor Replacement and Refrigerant Recharge

I would have an AC tech properly drain the system and put on a vacuum. He will have the tools to do that properly. And replace whatever parts he deems necessary. If the system leaked, then the longer...

Re: Maybe buying another Astra...

Asking prices bumped up $1-2k in 2021 as everyone piles on the inflation bus.

I see 100k mile cars sit for months at $4k ask. They move slowly so just keep your eyes peeled and jump when you can....

Do you know the codes?

Can you monitor the O2 sensors and fuel trims live?

Did you look for vacuum leaks in the engine bay? A smoke...

Re: Saturn astra xr Front coil suspension

The search is a bit difficult.

I think the XE springs ride higher than the XR springs do, so that is a consideration.

The OEM spring numbers probably differed based on option packages (e.g....

Search the forums for part numbers and alternative ideas on front XR coil springs. The bilstein site has extensive search options too.

I wonder if the computer is modified for the Cali cat?
