I suggest Mobil 1 Advanced Fuel Economy in 0W-30 for an automatic transmission,
and Emissions System Protection also in 0W-30 for a manual…
Both ran very well for me…
Getting around 44 MPG…

Tire pressure…
Look on the sidewall of your tires.
It should say “44 PSI Max” or “51 PSI Max”
If 44, put 33-35 in, if 51, put 40-44 in. Slightly lower in the front…

A Saturn S Series is a waste spark system,
so two plugs fire backwards during an engine cycle.
The gap on nearly anything other than plain copper plugs will open…
NGK makes an improved copper...

Saturn Ion 17" rims...
A post the other day had me wondering...
Has anyone put Saturn Ion 17 inch rims, with 205/50R17 rubber, on a 3rd generation Sl2?
If so, how did it ride?
I know Ion 16 inch rims will fit....

205 is about the widest you can put on, without changing the offset.
I would visit a junkyard and find either Saturn S Series or Saturn Ion rims.
The Ion will be 16”…
I suggest General Altimax...
