1st hint the odo is broken - less than 100k - and the trip set is at zero....... Everybody always pushes the reset in a vain attemp to get the...

The broken odo is very common... I have seen more 1st gens with broken than working.... Usually between 80 and 90k miles..

Check your mileage - the gas gauge isn' t super accurate in most S series.

You probably still have 1/4 to 1/3 tank when it reads E.

Pull plugs... If wet - you probably not getting spark.

If dry - probably no fuel.

Start there and let us know...

Also - sniff test the gas tank.... It smell like gas - or something else? 8...

Wherever you look ( stay outta my garage kid) the #1 thing to look for is underbody rust.




An S series with 4 different color body panels and a rust free undercarriage is worth many times...
