This usually happens on older cars, i have changed a few and it wasn't easy. But maybe there less troublesome on these Saturns.

Before junking it, get a bottle of Steel Seal, Scotty Kilmer uses it, and put that stuff in. I used similar products and they worked for me. Two cars had that problem and both stopped the problem...

old nuc thanks for the quick reply, but I have no idea where the 5 volt bus is? So should I get an EGR valve then the other items as a process of elimination. What should I do first to correct this...

My 2 cents is that the replacement shoes could have a defect with the brake linings not being attached properly to there mounted position on the steel part where there bonded.

fdryer thanks for all your input and all you guy's. The light stays on quite some time now. In NY it's a plug in only for emission, all other years below 96 are safety inspection only.

No they did not tel me which sensor, I will replace the front one first, replace it with the Denso or Bosch that you guys advise. The car has 107380 miles on it.

I just got informed my 02 sensor is bad, at the inspection station. He did not say upstream or downstream. My question is do I change both 02 sensors, and what is a quality brand 02 sensor?
