Re: LW200 with Body Control Module problems
Thanks for error on the terminology. It is Tech 2 in the roman numeral way. Quite why GM decided to use that is beyond me, but heyho.
With the advent of these smaller plug in modules that act with...

Re: LW200 with Body Control Module problems
All the suggested actions appear to be based on your symptoms, but it does not appear that any actual diagnosis has been done. Just all assumptions.
Might I suggest that you get the car checked...

Not sure where you have looked, but I went onto Rock Auto, put in your car and under Heating and AC, they show Service Valve Core, Service Valve Repair Kit and Service Valve Assembly - ALL available.

Re: Code P301 - 2002 LW300 V6
Brian,
Check out Rock Auto for fuel injectors. Their cheapest is $26.79 plus a $10.00 core charge. There are also YT videos where folks have jerry rigged a pipe system for checking the injector...

Re: Doors Don't Lock In Gear
OK Chaz. Thanks for clarifying that point. It's not the first time we have had threads on the L series but the cars are S series, all due to the early naming of the models.
On my son's L300 (2003)...

Chaz
Just to clarify something Your profile states you have Two SL2 cars. You said at the beginning of the thread you had an LS2.
So is the LS2 you got in June an L Series (LS2) or is it one of...

Re: L200 RPM Surge with A/C
Disconnecting the battery is important for many jobs, but I would not have thought it necessary changing something like the iac. For things like that, you'd simply unplug at the connector. If...

Re: Rocker Panels
You have to acknowledge the reality that the L series has been out of production for 16 years and Saturn as a company has been closed for 13 years.
That in itself, tells you that many parts for...

Paul is correct, the only changes to the C30 were cosmetic rather than mechanical, such as new bumpers, lights, the usual crap that manufacturers do these days to get you to buy a new one. At the...

Couldn't answer that. Others who have the issue have been in various states, so I don't think it's external heat related. One of the things I can tell you is that I watched a youtube video of a CA...

Re: 2000 L Series V6
Depends on what color the 'smoke' was coming out the tailpipe. Blue smoke is the engine burning oil and it passing through the cat. That's not good. Black smoke can be simply too rich a mixture....

I found this video on You tube which gives 6 tests (non-intrusive) that you can do to check if you have a blown cylinder head gasket. Some are a little more involved than others, but some of...
