Here is what you do for an EASY fix:

Go to home depot and buy:

2x 1/4NPT male to 1/4 barb

1x 1/4NPT TEE with all female fittings

1x 1/4NPT male to 1/8NPT female adapter

It doesnt affect anything. All it reads is ambient air temps. So if you put it somewhere that isnt affected by engine heat, done!

Dont mess with n/a bolt ons if you want a fast car. If you buy a plethora of n/a bolt ons the only setup that will let you retain them is a nitrous setup.

Yeah like the other guy said, you can get the proper one for 20ish$.

Unless you have a 91-93/94, or have a 91 header on your 91-98 car, then the proper sensor is about 80-100$ new wherever you go.

Stick steel. Its a malliable epoxy that you mead and place. It will hold things very well. Put the sensor in the pipe and use a bead of stick steel to seal around the hole.
