Sorry, don't bleed this one. Good chance you screwed up instalation of slave cylynder. Yours wouldn't be the first time it was reinstalled incorectly. Search is you friend.

Clean the EGR. Very easy to do. At the same time take off the throttle body, remove the sensors from it and clean that too. You will be amazed at the results. My 96 sl2 at about 250k the EGR...

I just removed the sprockets and chain. I can see plunger extended about .500 inch. This seems to match the Haynes info as far as service limit. Having that much travel left I'm feeling ok about...
