Vue has single transverse muffler behind back axle. You could replace muffler with a flow thru style. Or remove muffler and cut it open and remove baffles. And seal it back up. Which is hard to do....

All you can do is a drain and fill. Pretty sure there is no trans pan to drop. Use Honda fluid. Lots of videos showing steps. My vue has toyo trans and it likes drain/fills.

Does it have a v6 or 4 cyl motor.
V6 has Honda motor and trans
4 cyl has a Chevy trans. 4t45e.
So you did or did not have a trans fluid change?

Yes, I drove the 08 10 years ago and it had 30k miles and rattled. Sis never did anything about it. Even when it had warranty.

I have put in 3 driveshafts. Never used torque wrench. Not required. I did leave driveshaft out for about 1 year and the threads on diff bolts were rusty. Had to chase threads with tap to install...

The cabin heat is fine when driving at 1500 rpm or higher. I can drive 100 miles on hwy and heat is fine. I stop at redlight and heat will go to cool within 1-2 minutes. At idle it will blow cold....

I might use them. But my car has leaf springs and the backspacing is a bit too deep.

Oof, my kids 08 equinox started overheating/no heat a few weeks ago. Dang. I pulled heads and replaced gaskets and intake gaskets too. I still haven’t touched the torrent.
