The spoiler AFAIK will depend on mechanical grip so you need to sand it.
If it is metallic that will mess up the metallic some depending on the size of the particles. Non metallic you will be fine....

About every 15 seconds with blower motor on low or high setting you get about a 2 seconds of EEERRRR from the blower motor side...

Yes the cap that seals on the backside is what I would like the measurement of.
Metal cap on my non-ABS and plastic cap with ABS. I would guess the measurement will be the same for either.

C52, When you replace wheel and hub would you measure the size of the dust cap that is on the backside. If you had ABS this is where your wiring would plug into a plastic dust cap.
