Re: Passenger size floor matt is full of Dex Cool
I'll flush the heater core when I replace the O-rings. However, when it comes to heat, the Saturn heats better and faster than our other two vehicles (Dodge Ram 2500, and an 2000 Yaris Hach Back). ...

Re: Passenger size floor matt is full of Dex Cool
I placed two paper towels beneath the heater core another under the pipe connections. I left them there for 3 days. I found drips beneath the pipe connections and none under the heater core. I...

Passenger size floor matt is full of Dex Cool
I have had this issue once before and it vanished for a long time. Over the winter, somehow, the Saturn was leaking coolant and the light came on to add coolant. I added 2 inches of Dex Cool to...

Re: 02 LW300 V6 Fuel Pump and OBD2 Trouble
The intermittentness of the gauges and OBD2 interconnect still makes me believe the key switch could be at fault. Why would it work once and another time not? Digital elections don't act like that,...

Re: 02 LW300 V6 Fuel Pump and OBD2 Trouble
A completely broken timing belt would allow the valves to seat and as long as the cam shafts are not spinning, the engine would simply rotate and not start. Some valves could hit the piston(s). It...

Re: 02 LW300 V6 Fuel Pump and OBD2 Trouble
A defective CPS can't disable to the starter from spinning the engine. The CPS strictly is a signal generator to provide clocking signals used to time the engine. It's the chicken and the egg...

Re: 02 LW300 V6 Fuel Pump and OBD2 Trouble
The engine will rotate but will not start if the crank position sensor is bad. I am thinking the key switch is not really switching the RUN wire to ON, therefore gauges don't work and the ODBII...

Re: 02 LW300 V6 Fuel Pump and OBD2 Trouble
Don't rely on a ohm's test to determine crank position sensor is good or not. A bad one will simply not provide clocking to the ECM and therefore no start. The crank position sensor provides the...

Re: 02 LW300 V6 Fuel Pump and OBD2 Trouble
Everyone will poo poo on this idea, but it is inexpensive and easy to try. Nobody believes this, but it is true. If the ECT sensor is faulty and reporting a high temperature... the injectors will...

Re: 02 LW300 V6 Fuel Pump and OBD2 Trouble
Have you considered the fuel filter is plugged? Disconnecting the fuel filter and testing for fuel pump is working might be good to isolated the a fuel delivery issue.

Re: 2001 L300 Stalling/No Start/No Fuel Reading
If you got fuel pressure on the rails, I could remove the Crank Position Sensor and clean any debris off of it. It could have magnetic metal particles blocking normal operation. Clean it thoroughly...

Re: 2001 LW200 - ABS gone wild?
We had a problem something like that which seemed to be a tire issue. Simple check is to rotate the tires. To this day, if we put the "bad tire" on the frontend, problems return. They are not old...
