Re: Former Saturn Owner Struck by "Unresponsive" and "Inattentive" Treatment from Toy

I had a bad experience with a Toyota dealership many years ago. I swore then I would never buy that brand ever. I have kept that promise.

Re: Where to go now that Saturns are no longer sold?

I bought a used Buick LaCrosse 2006. I still have my Saturn Vue. If I run across another used S-series I might buy it.
If you can find a good used Saturn go for it. If you see a good used Buick...

Re: In Need of Car Fax

A few years ago a member here was offering to run carfax reports. He ran one on a Sl I bought used. I'll just have my daughter ask the dealer for one.

Re: Strange Problem

I would check the CPS sensor. A faulty one can make the car intermittently not start.

Re: Vibration and Chirps 2004 Saturn Vue

I had the same problem with my Vue. Turned out to be sway bar links.
Later I had to replace the wheel bearing due to humming/rumbling noise on front end.

I just replaced my front left wheel hub assembly on my Vue 04 at 95,000 miles. I had to use a 34MM socket and I torqued the axle nut at 62 foot lbs.
Was this correct?

Re: digital odometer light

Check out Richpin's Video in the sticky Post in the how to library he shows how you can remove the dash in 5 minutes. The bulb you need is $5. A mechanic will want $150 labor to do it.

Re: Intermittent no start when cold

You need a new CPS. Check in how to library for instructions on how to replace. Also check electrical connections on battery and ground connection
to rule those out as cause of the no start.
