Re: 92 sc seatbelt conversion
Something doesn't seem right in the pics. When I did mine, it was on a sedan and the "newer" parts came from a wagon. I wonder if the coupe vs. sedan thing is an issue here.
On the newer manual...

Re: Strut Noise Diagnosed but Not Cured
i think the 1st thing you should do is get an alignment. If I'm not mistaken the Saturn strut mounting holes are slotted so they are adjustable. After it's aligned, then see if the noise is still...

Re: Saturn-less for 1st time in 10 years
Thanks for the thoughts. Yeah I will stay around here awhile. It's a force of habit logging on a few times a week.
New owner is a few years younger than me, with a child and needed a 4 door.

Saturn-less for 1st time in 10 years
Hey guys, just wanted to let you all know I sold my last Saturn: a 1991 SL2 sedan, 5 speed manual with two-tone silver/gray paint. It had 91,000 miles on it.
I bought it at 65,000 miles with a...

Re: Trying to save a SC1
It doesnt even look like the radiator support is bent on that thing, just the hood, and possibly a headlight.
In life, I have learned that once someone has made up their mind, it's nearly...

Re: Wife broke my saturn
If the hood now sits lower and pushed back, I would get the radiator support replaced as well (it's probably all bent up now). It's the metal bar that runs widthwise in the front top of the engine...

Re: how to replace lateral links
OP, which lateral link do you need? I think I have a full set in good condition. I just sold my Saturn so I don't need them anymore. They were spares I was keeping around just in case.

Mushy brake pedal: master cyl. or power booster?
Hi guys.
I recently did a search on this topic, but couldn't find any brake booster tests beyond pumping the pedal when the car is off to deplete vacuum. I should then have a hard pedal that...

Brand new wheel cylinder leaking?
Anyone had this happen to them?
Got the new wheel cylinder installed, bled the brakes about 20 strokes, pedal is still soft although there is no more air coming out the bleeder.
Pop the...

Re: Replacing the radio in my '93
What you need can be found cheaply on e-Bay. A replacement stereo should come with its own harness.
You then need to order a "GM-Saturn" harness. Most of them I've seen match the stock wire...

Re: Why did GM give us such a pathetic fan?
There was a post a while back where someone went to the JY and got a GM W-Body blower motor, swapped it in to the Saturn and got some real nice airflow. I don't remember who it was though

Re: Engine Vibration. 'Rougher' at idle.
hey there, fellow '91 owner. I had to replace those mounts when I did the swap from auto to manual trans. in my '91.
In your pdf diagrams, replacing #7 and #23 seemed to help the most with...
