when I pulled the cylinder lock out behind it was a, well, a funny looking piece that the lock cylinder went into. I pulled it out, and screwed up and didn't notice how to put it back...

Key was starting to get difficult to put in the lock cylinder, no biggie.
I will fix this while I have it apart for the following problem.

I figured it out!
there are 5 plug in's all labeled a,b,c,d,e
take one wire connect e to c
take another wire connect d to a.
when a and d connect it starts to close.

motor is not shot, just need a new switch. Until then I need to try to get it closed. So I can crank it closed with a screwdriver?

I have a 1999 with factory sunroof.
Wife came home and said it's broke. Of course it's in the OPEN position!
I pulled dow the switch and removed it so now I have the 5 pronged plug in hanging...

Getting fuel out
I have an SW2 that has some fuel in the tank, 8 gal or so.
What is the easiest way to get it out?
I was going to use my siphon to siphon it out of the tank but I can't get the hose all the way...

If insurance totals it out, they pay me, then IF I want buy the car back and fix and take extra money in pocket, OR I take the money putit towards another newer model, and buy this one for parts car....

also checked the fan, it works when I cross the two connectors per the video above.
How do you tell if the "grey box" looks like a 4way fuse; that plugs into the board is bad?

Ok, I spliced in the new connector to the ECTS, and still have the water boiling over but the gauge reads 1/4 now.
so do I have a thermostat stuck open?

ok, got a new ECT connector/wire thingy.
problem is neither wire is colored or labeled.
How do you know which one to connect to what wire?
Does it matter?
