I'm not going to put the thermostatic switches inside the radiator, rather I plan on putting them on the front side in between the AC condenser and radiator and running the switches to somewhere...

The engine I purchased does come with the wiring harness and ECU, so that part is taken car of. I'm not sure what you mean though by make sure the dash is 100% digital, so maybe you could explain...

Yes, the injectors and a lot of other things (throttle, etc) are controlled electronically, so some kind of ECU will be necessary to run the TDI. The AHU doesn't have an immobilizer so I don't have...

fdryer, when I was pouring through the ECU wires on the TDI I don't recall seeing anything going to the fan but it's very possible I overlooked it.

I have found the pinouts from the VW ECU that go to the AC climate control switch and the output from the ECU to the relay. Now I need to figure out where those wires are on the Saturn from the AC...
