Re: Need a new key!

I was in the same situation a couple of years ago. I went to a local locksmith, took my plate registration in (for the vin number). 30 minutes later I had new keys. Simple as that. Cost may vary.

I am thinking the Sx1 (any SOHC) series had the 14" (steel or alloy) and the Sx2 (any DOHC) came with...

Re: Death wobble at 40 mph and up

Mine is a manual trans and it too would hold steady on a slight incline while in neutral.
When repairs were done, it's always with new quality parts, not cheap stuff. We did do a second fluid flush...

Re: 2002 sl1. Which engine sensors or controls to replace?

after the motor is full warm, if you shut off the motor and then restart, does the idle drop to normal around 750rpm? If you plan on removing the TB and cleaning it, replacing the TPS would be a good...

Re: Death wobble at 40 mph and up

I had a brake caliper hang up and caused a shuttering when braking. I had it replace ( and hose) by a competent shop. The caliper would last about a year and then do it again. It took a couple of...

Re: 2002 sl1. Which engine sensors or controls to replace?

Is the high idle consistent or does it drop to normal idle if you shut the engine off and start it back up (while warm)?
Downstream O2 sensors rarely go bad. When they do, you get a code and that's...

Re: Looking for exhaust system threads

Is that for just the DOHC ?
