Re: Tonight's Strange Problem

I never figured there would be anything within that fuse block that would cause such difficulties. When I beefed up the wiring, I checked and found continuity between the two bolts but didnt attend...

Re: Acetone for better MPG?

I know this is an old post. I will say though that I've been testing this and it has proven successful. The tricky thing is getting the right amount as too much will have a negative effect. I've read...

First off, if this is an easy one to answer, I'm sorry for my ignorance. I know more about car audio than I do any other mods, especially anything dealing with suspension and stabilization.

I...

"Finding the close proximity of the BCM to the radio and immediate noise picked up by the RCA cables now suggests a possible ground/shield not shunting the interference. Food for thought."

Re: persistent engine noise.. rectifiers? ECU?

I can't start the car atm b/c the alt is gone for repair. If I could though, I would give it a shot for the sake of arguement if nothing else. However, I do not think it will do anything b/c the...

Re: persistent engine noise.. rectifiers? ECU?

On a different note, does anyone have any creative ways to test the ECU for noise in a similar manner to what I did with the alternator? I'm trying to think of how to disconnect the ECU but still run...
