I will have to pull the wheel off and see if there is anything out of place under there, I'm just hoping it's not the bearing.

Well I got her to fire up, one of the battery terminals was indeed pretty corroded so I cleaned that up, I also replaced that ground wire with just a solid copper ground (inside wall wire), not sure...

Unfortunately the only way to get the car to a shop would be to tow ir right now, it starts with a boost but we dont have any way of boosting it at the moment. Just need to identify the issue and...

Ok it's not a blue wire but a black braided wire, it connects to the strut tower, definitely a ground, photo attached. Can I just replace it with a regular copper wire?

As indicated in my info to the left its a 2001 SL2, I'll try to get a picture when my wife gets home. There's no aftermarket electronics that I know of and the store is a ways off. The car started...

So my wife just got stranded when the car wouldnt start after she went to the store, they were able to get it going with a boost but there is a ground wire that is blue and comes out...

The muffler is in dire need of replacing, it rusted out around the strap (I dont understand why they havent designed a better system then this awful trap which is the death of all...

I'm looking for an OEM fit washer pump for our 01 SL2, one with the proper connector connector and not just 2 wires like the aftermarket ones.

Thanks guys, looks like the cheapest I can get one of the GM ones is $65 after shipping which is a bit more then I want to spend on one, I dont suppose anyone has one they would like to sell?

Yea I guess it is plastic, felt more solid then that. No new oil appearing yet, we'll see after the wife takes the car for a run to work tomorrow.

Well I'm fairly certain it is the valve cover gasket, there was a fair bit of gunk along the back of the engine along the cover, I didn't check the plug wells because its too cold and miserable out...

Modern break cleaner leaves a residue? I thought the whole purpose was for it to not leave a residue as it can damage your brake pads? Odd, any modern brands of brake cleaner that dry clean?

The one he received was too big, he said he was told they had a problem with that particular run and whoever made the mold messed it up. Would whatever NAPA sells be acceptable? Not sure what parts...

Just watched some videos on replacing the valve cover gasket and it seems quite simple, nothing I couldnt do myself.

My only concern would be, the guy in the video said you should let the car sit...
