Re: I want a remote start

Thank you FGCA_XRL for your insightful answer. That's exactly what I was looking for in terms of good/bad about remote starts. At work my car is right outside my door, so I see it and potentially...

I want a remote start

Just as the title says, I want a remote start system for my '06 Vue Red Line.
My Brother has a Viper remote starter on his '04 Sierra and loves it. He pretty much has me convinced that it's a great...

Re: Bumper Cover

That is the same bumper cover I've got - fits really well and does the job with no problems at all.

I spoke to two dealers other than where I bought the RL, and they both told me the same aswer -...

Re: VUe vs Ion for Roadtrip

Take the Vue. We just got back from a 4000 mile round trip from Arizona to South Dakota in my '06 Vue RL. Much roomier than our '90 Camry. By keeping the speed down, our average for entire trip...

Re: Moose has a new sister

Wow - very nice! What a great thing for you and your brother to do.

I've always admired the Cressida from afar. My favorite years are 1985-86 because I really like the boxiness.

Last...

I have a photo-shopped pic because it's too dark for a pic now, but it's too big to upload. I will get a pic posted this weekend. :D

Re: Die Cast Antara

With shipping I paid $35.01...it came from Germany.

Was a bit much, but I really wanted it, so I paid. :xeye:

Re: Big Day For Moose

I started out with dental floss, to get the emblems off. I then scraped the residue with paper towel soaked with WD-40. For the most part that worked well, but on the tougher residue, I used the...

Die Cast Antara

I found this Norev die cast Opel Antara on a national auction site. Even though I have an '06 Vue Red Line, I absolutely had to have this car. I collect die casts, and this makes an amazing...

Re: Did you buy your current Saturn new or used?

Saturn #1: 2001 SL2, 5-speed manual (gold - The Blonde Rocket) bought new May 21, 2001, with 41 original miles. It was a birthday present to me, from me. Traded in at 39,436 for Saturn #2.

Big Day For Moose

Not only did Moose get a bath, but I conditioned the seats, and did a small de-badge on the hatch. I took off the "V6" emblem on the right side and black Saturn applique logo from the left side. I...

Re: Hi all New RL owner

Totally agree - WAY more fun with a manual. Every once-in-a-while I find myself reaching for the clutch that's not there...

Before my RL, I'd been driving stick shifts for about 14 years.

Re: TrueDelta Vehicle Reliability Survey results - Saturn VUE

Wish I could be more help, but luckily, <knocks on wooden desk> my Vue hasn't had to visit the mechanic too often.

Hopefully more will sign up and see what a valuable service you are providing.

Re: Sign Up to Drive the '08 Astra Before Its Available

My partner and I went to the drive event out in Scottsdale (Phx) tonight and had a blast! All I can say is WOW!! The Astra seems to be a very well thought out vehicle.

There was a range of...

Re: Will this bumper pad work for my 04 RL?

It fit on my '06 Vue RL...I don't know anything about bumper designs or changes, but I would *think* that it would fit.

Re: Red Line Bumpers and how a Target manager escaped almost certain death

I got the regular bumper protector, the one that goes down along the edge of the bumper. It fit with no modifying at all. With Moose being bright Chili Pepper Red, the black protector gives some...

On my '01 SL2, the sunroof motor was replaced under warranty, as well as the tracks fixed at least twice, again under warranty.

The sunroof on my '06 Vue RL has no problems at all...hopefully it...

Re: Red Line Bumpers and how a Target manager escaped almost certain death

The bumper protector was one of the first things I did after buying my Vue. Despite my "anal-ity" and trying to be careful, it has saved the bumper from many scratches and dings.

Re: 2008 VUE... Manual trans??

It was worth a shot - thanks for sharing their response.

Guess when it comes time to replace Moose (with a manual of course:yes:) I won't be eyeing the Vue anymore.
