Re: 1995 SL 1 keep or rebuild
How much are you doing yourself? On our '99, machine shop and engine parts cost were $1400 in 2017. Here is my project thread:

Re: Oil Filter Magnet?
I've never had a Saturn with an automatic. I think I've heard the automatic magnet mentioned before. Somebody who knows what they are talking about will be along shortly.
Did you take the RV to...

Thanks all for the positive comments!
It's not really twitchy in roll. On that first video I kept tweaking the ailerons getting a feel for the airplane. The airplane does have short wings,...

Re: Your favorite tires?
I have been running Primewells. Cheap, decent wet and snow traction (at least when new). My former Ram 1500, Buick Century, and '99 SL2 all have them.

Re: Off Topic - Waiex 191
I'm guessing the image stabilization is trying to keep the horizon, at least until I'm established in h turn. It's a fixed mount.

Re: Mysterious hiccup
The unplug test kills the EGRs ability to make the car hiccup. If you unplug it and it still hiccups, it's something else. This is not the case when you clean it.

Re: Off Topic - Waiex 191
80HP is max. Usually airplanes are cruised at 75% power, so 60HP and 4 gallons per hour. Capacity is 16 gallons and cruise speed is about 100 kts, or 115 mph. Stall is 50 kts, takeoff about 60 kts.

It's not really broken - and weight is the enemy. One of the design compromises is the airplane has flat sides and bottom for ease of construction - but...

Re: Mysterious hiccup
Try unplugging the EGR. If the problem goes away you have found the culprit. I had the same issue on the '98 and it had gotten really bad.
