Sorry for wasting your time...

Re: Struggling to idle at start when hot

Been a bit since I cared to look into this, but I was finally able to get some live data today. The “Hot starts” was what was picked up with a hot start after sitting for about 15 minutes. After...

Re: Saturn Craigslist Deal of the Day!

It's not the dumbest design for a roll cage. The bar could be there to help protect the doors panels from cracking if hit on track. I hear the plastic fenders can be a pain to deal with. Not only do...

Re: Loose Door Skin

It's still attached to both sides, just something that holds is in place inside the door has broken off. I honestly have no idea what the inner workings of an S-Series door are (yet) so I really...

Re: Windshields

Have any pics of this? Be interesting to see the difference next to an OEM one.

Crazy curved glass seemed to be the trend of the early 90s. Looks pretty cool when new, and is great for...

Re: Loose Door Skin

I don’t think my front passenger side door is help on by any of the bottom screws/clips anymore. I want to take it off to repair, but it’s easier to just leave it alone than end up with a door card I...

Re: I had to do it! It had to be done!

Hope you painted the hole after drilling. Even a small just a small one, exposed bare metal could cause rust to start forming and spread to the entire wheel well. Would certainly take a while, but is...

Re: S-Series Spot and Shot

I've defiantly learned a lot of useless information about these cars over the years haha. I can Say with 99% confidence that red SL2 is a late 92 model.

1. Saw tooth wheels (option for 91-93)
2....

Is it really? might be neat to set up a GoPro to see this happening...

The only problem with the springs is that they rust pretty quickly in the salt belt and break over time. I soaked mine with...

Re: LED's installed in the gauge cluster, none work

It is for sure nice to be able to enjoy the car as it was when sold new back in the day. Definitely some things that make the car feel dated, but thatís also part of the fun of driving a car from the...

Re: LED's installed in the gauge cluster, none work

I had a problem with one of my 194 bulbs being loose in its socket and flickering over bumps. Pretty sure the kind you have canít be separated from the socket, but I may be wrong.

Re: LED's installed in the gauge cluster, none work

No idea then what may be wrong. I know these clusters can be kinda finicky with LEDs sometimes. I’ve also never worked with a 3g cluster before and they may have other issues I’m not aware of. The...

Re: 2001 Saturn sc2 dohc 3 door coupe. What are my lowering/suspension upgrade option

If you want disc brakes, you want a Saturn with ABS from 93-97 as a donor car. I believe 91 and 92 used a slightly different setup, but I could be wrong. You're realistically not gonna be pulling...

Re: calling Zach Zeebins

Ahhh, thanks for the offer, but I just post cars in the Craigslist section that I think other people would be interested in. Not currently in the market for another car. (Although I with I was lol)

Re: Upper engine mount available new

You’d have to experiment youself with various manufacturers to see what mount ends up being the softest at idle. The main problem with aftermarket TAMs is the crap rubber they use. While I’ve never...

Re: Tranny relearn.

If you just drive it like normal, throwing in some hard acceleration for good measure, you should be fine. The PCM is continuously learning and adapting as you drive so it will eventually figure...

While I don't personally know much about how the aftermarket gauges/ECUs work with these cars, I have heard that getting tach reading can be a pain. Hopefully someone else can chime in but I remember...
