Re: Factory alarm troubles

Sorry to revive the dead thread, but I thought I would offer some closure to the topic. I ended up having to replace the passenger door switch. I never would have figured both door switches would...

Re: Are leather seats better?

I'm with MS3DALE on this one. I have leather in my 02 SC2 as well and I'd trade it in a second for a nice 3rd gen coupe cloth interior. If anyone (local) wants to make a trade... let me know.

Re: Ion Redline steering wheel into an S-series?

I figure the S-series are different from the Ion's, but I was just wondering if it would be an easy swap. I assume the wiring will be somewhat similar for the cruise and the airbag, with the...

Re: Ion Redline steering wheel into an S-series?

Actually it doesn't have to be from a Redline, but I want the 4-spoke version of the Ion steering wheel...

Did those ever come in black with leather wrap?

Ion Redline steering wheel into an S-series?

Has anyone ever successfully swapped an Ion Redline steering wheel into their S-series?

I have an '02 SC2 and I hate the steering wheel.

Trunk leak on an '02

Is there a spot where the S-series cars commonly leak into the trunk? I'm thinking it's coming up from the wheel well somewhere. It's leaking on both the driver side and the passenger side, the...

Re: Factory alarm troubles

Well that's good to know I can deactivate the security function...

As for pulling the plug on the horn, it will still kill my battery by flashing the lights all night. Plus, then I won't have a...

Re: Can anyone access TSB's?

Hey... thanks for that. I already saw that one though...

I'm thinking this is probably a communication issue between the BCM and one of the related components. I have to bring it to my old work...

Re: Factory alarm troubles

Hey Mike, I wouldn't actually sell the car... I'm just exaggerating because I'm frustrated with it.

First thing I'm going to do is bring it to my old work and have them scan the BCM for any...

Well, my question is answered... there are no TSB's for the RKE / BCM.

Re: Can anyone access TSB's?

The dealer was actually useful enough to tell me there were no recalls, but it's not a recall I'm looking for... it's a Tech Service Bulletin I'm looking for if it exists...

Can anyone access TSB's?

I need to know if there any Tech Service Bullitens available for my 2002 Saturn SC2 (1G8ZR127727302665) regarding the remote keyless entry system. The system is still unmodified from the factory. ...

Re: RKE Module Location

I was actually kind of hoping for that... You don't happen to have a wiring color diagram for the BCM do you? I plan to make some modifications to the automatic lighting system.

TIA

RKE Module Location

Would anyone here care to enlighten me as to the location of the RKE module in my 2002 SC2?

I looked behind the passenger side C-pillar seat trim, which is where it was on my '99 but on the '02...

Re: Pics of HID

Ebay is your friend... the most common ones are from Audi's and BMW's. Bi-Xenon lights from the Audi's are cool. ;)

Re: Pics of HID

To get that done, you'll pay through the ***** at a shop. Besides, the best custom work is the stuff you do yourself, and it's the one and only way to stop being a beginner. Go to the junkyard and...
