Same for me. I went as far as to short the two wires that plug into the switch, and the light goes on. Must be something wearing in the shift mechanism. I replaced that as well, with a junkyard...

Welcome to the forum! Odd that you keep blowing an oil pan gasket. I'd check the PVC valve to see if it is blocked. Very easy to do yourself.
Regarding a cracked vacuum line - there are not...
