Re: code PO2610

I just did a quick scan of the article here:
http://www.teacher.starenvirotech.com/GM/Engine%20Off%20Natural%20Vacuum%20Diagnostic.doc.

If I understand this, the EONV (Engine Off Natural Vaccuum...

Re: code PO2610

Our 2006 V6 Vue AWD has this code. It didn't when we bought it, but it showed up not too long after.

I pulled the ECM fuse. It looks OK, but didn't test it for resistance. Any other ideas where...

Re: Key fobs programming issue

Thanks far2grumpy. I think I get it. I just noticed that the manual has the synchronization procedure in it, too.

Re: P300 - All Cylinders misfiring

It's been running like this for some time. I've run a lot of gas through it, including Premium grade from time to time.

I changed the plugs last summer with Bosch platinums. Just in case I got...

Re: P300 - All Cylinders misfiring

Yes. That description sounds right.

In fact, my current practice is to start the vehicle (it usually fires up right away, first try), and let it warm up for five minutes. It idles just fine.

Re: Looking at used V6 Vue. Honda tranny scary?

I'm on my fourth Vue.

The first was a 4-cyl FWD CVT. Great driving car. Too bad about the failure-prone CVT transmission.

The other three have been Honda V6's.

I bought the first 2004 V6...

Re: Weird misfire issue

I have the exact same issue on my 2004 V6 AWD. The dealer says it's a slipping torque converter. If you search the forums here, you'll find lots of discussion on it, so it sounds like a fairly common...

Re: P300 - All Cylinders misfiring

Codes were checked after pulling EMISS fuse and replacing it. The fuse didn't look blown, but I didn't verify by checking the resistance.

Checked codes tonight. Only codes showing on my basic...

Re: Key fobs programming issue

Wow. That worked! Thanks far2grumpy!

I tried it first with my factory fob. Then I tried the new fobs. The new fobs now unlock and lock the new Vue... with one interesting side affect:

One of...

Key fobs programming issue

I bought a used 2006 Saturn Vue a few months ago (not my older Vue with the bad idle and P0300 error codes). It only came with one key and key fob. As I did with my older Vue, I bought two fobs off...

Re: P300 - All Cylinders misfiring

Thanks for the info on the vent hose.

Battery light is not on.

Timing belt was changed at 217000km. I bought it with 205000km, which is why it wasn't changed closer to the recommended...

Re: P300 - All Cylinders misfiring

This thread ( http://www.saturnfans.com/forums/showthread.php?t=194911 ) discusses an exhaust manifold leak. I know I have a pre-cat converter leak. Maybe that's it? Will get exhaust work done next...

P300 - All Cylinders misfiring

Hi, everyone.

Long time since I've posted. I have a 2004 Vue AWD, 3.5L V6 with 350,000km(!).

Check engine light is on. Error codes are P300, P301, P302, P303, P304, P305. i.e. all cylinders...

Re: Auto Trans Fix?

Can you tell me a little more about the TLC the tranny needs? How recent is the PCM update? What's it for? Not sure if it's been done.

It's been a long time since I started this thread. Happened again. Had the driver's window smashed in. I really don't know what they were after. Can't find anything missing.

After the last time, I...

Re: Auto Trans Fix?

Like far2grumpy says, you only need to worry if it's an '02-'04 (possibly '05) with the 4-cyl. automatic. The manual tranny was OK, and the V6 had no major tranny issues that I'm aware of.

iPhone made for the Vue

A little trick for iPhone or iTouch owners. The dash in the Vue is just the right size to wedge the iPhone in front of the steering wheel between the Speedo and the Tach.

With a Bluetooth stereo,...

Re: Help: 02 VUE 6 Disc CD Changer Broken...

Re: Most miles you have seen on a VTI vue?

I still have my 2003 Vue Vti, although I bought a 2004 Vue V6 AWD, which is my main ride now.

The tranny was replaced on the Vti at 139000 km (86000 miles). I'm now up to 237000 km (147000 miles)...

Fog lights & Rear Rumble

In Jan. '09 I bought a friend's 2004 Vue V6/AWD.

2 issues with it -

The fog lights have stopped working. The indicator light on the dash comes on, but the lights don't. I've checked the fuses,...

Re: 2004 Vue problems

Front end shimmy while braking is usually warped rotors. Very common on the Vue. Try to go easy on the brakes, and allow them to cool after hard braking.

Sway bar links also go often on the Vue....

Re: Bottom of Doors crack Due to ice Build up

I've had a Vue for 5 winters, and haven't had this problem.

Maybe use some silicone grease on your door seals, and even put some on the lower parts of the doors to keep the ice from sticking?
