I Have never known it to have any negative effects the die is very concentrated and you aren't adding much
when working on AC we leave it in all the time

if it was the water pump he would have water in the oil and not oil in the water ..... there is no pressurized oil in the water pump after all ...
it would show in the crankcase and NOT the coolant...

doesn't need to overheat or blow smoke for it to be a head gasket
there is only one way you get engine oil in the coolant which is ....... drumroll plz

have it smoke tested I am 99.99999999% sure its the lines
the fuel and vapor lines on these are notorious for rotting out
you can pickup a generic Nylon kit and replace it all with nice rust proof...

so that cleaned up way better then I thought
put new lifters in re-assemble see what happens
reusing the lifters is silly for how cheap they are nobody likes a ticky motor
its hard to tell but...

Carb cars need carb parts
the pcm is programed differently on CARB/PZEV Models it expects a different sensor voltage feedback then a non carb car afaik the carb cats run a bit hotter and behave...

brand new dressed engine for that 07 is 1500 bucks on ebay a junk yard motor might be 500 bucks depending on the yard
a new head if you can't save your is 300 ish
so with just the head you are...

its possible todo it with the sand paper the glass method
but if you get it wrong at minimum you will have to take it back apart and back to the machine shop to get it done right
its hard todo...

depends on the seller but usually they only come with valves if anything
I would replace everything in the top end that you can do lifters, vvt actuators if its got it
its simply not worth shade...

red/brown is easy to miss on the ground, blue stands out
removing the stain is going to suck as its permeated the concrete
