Re: comfortable lower seats.... ?
Let me explain because perhaps it's just my headrest that's messed up. If I'm reclined a little bit and my head rest is to the maximum point forward, I'll be looking down my nose and cheeks just to...

Re: comfortable lower seats.... ?
I saw on a saturn sight about removing the raising seat feature from those corbeau frames and that made it a few inches lower.
I like the looks of the Corbeau A4 seat. It's slightly less wide than...

Re: comfortable lower seats.... ?
I'm about 6" but I don't really like my seat reclined very much. In the afternoon I have about an inch or two of clearance but in the morning I'm rubbing.

I was looking on the forums about finding a racing seat and discovered that corbeau actually makes a bracket for our cars and the Forza seat fits well.
This has grabbed my attention because I just...

Re: Catalytic converter hiding oil burn?
I'd like to do a complete rebuild of an engine and swap it in there. I have the money I just don't have the time. Not too long ago it was quite the opposite.

Re: Catalytic convertor hiding oil burn?
That's the thing, at a quart a tank I would expect to see a very noticeable amount of smoke coming from the exhaust. I noticed it from my old SL2 and it was only doing 1qt per 600-700 miles.
I can...

Catalytic convertor hiding oil burn?
My oil consumption has just gone through the roof lately. Causing me to switch to wal-mart dyno oil just to save some money.
It appears I lost a quart of oil in the last 250 miles. (I think that's...

Headlight won't adjust down
I have a '96 SC2 and it seems the right headlamp won't adjust down very easily. I've turned the bottom screw quite a bit but it doesn't seem to be moving down very much (if at all). The left lamp I...

Re: Can a bad battery cause this?
UPDATE:
Put the old alternator back in with a new battery. Started her up, read 14.2v for a while. Turned on all the accessories and it read about 12.6v at idle.
I drove it around the lot, came...

Well her parents live 5 hours away. Her dad works in another continent.
Yeah her dad asked if I could take the alternator out and have autozone test it. I think that's a bigger task than an oil...

Yeah, she just drives short hops. She lives in the middle of town and drives to band practice, my place, and to the grocery store.... that's about it.

Sorry, it had load at 14 volts. Only difference between that and later was the radio on about 3 less volts and all warmed up.
I checked the battery cables and the tension on the belt. Tension was...

That's a pretty neat idea quiksc2. I was thinking about using one of those but I wasn't sure how to make it work or what it would look like.

Do you think it would be best to replace the springs and struts at the same time? Mine have 160k miles on them... in theory. I'm kind of waiting to have some sort of strut problem so I can upgrade...
