Re: Instrument cluster oil light staying on

I may have posted a wiring diagram of S-series oil sending units. If I'm not mistaken, the simple oil pressure sensor is a mechanical switch calibrated to close when a specified pressure is reached...

Re: Where does this ground strap connect too?

This ground strap may be for a separate radio ground from radio power ground. I think this helped provide shielding from rf noise being picked up from electronics; the radio case acting as a...

Re: Ions 2005 2.2 O2

Re: Instrument cluster oil light staying on

You'll find the majority of past threads about the oil pressure light is about the oil sending unit wearing out and not the oil pump. The oil pressure sending unit is a single wire sensor calibrated...

Re: Anyone else want the look of a firmer tire sidewall? Help?

Being unfamiliar with tire pressures for Auras, my L300 (similar sedan and weight) call for 30 psi all around. My (euro spec) suspension was always very firm whether at 28, 30, 32 or 35). All radial...

Re: Intermittent Stall at Idle

Examine spark plugs; dry black indicates rich fuel, oily black indicates ring wear, blistered white ceramic indicates lean mixtures. Tan ceramic is normal.

If the throttle body injector was never...

The entire photo albums are residing in the old server when the transition was made to a new server a few years ago. Charlie, the admin, was asked about it and his reply was difficult to impossible...

Re: 1999 SW2 no start

Spaceman Spiff, somewhere around '96-'00, with the remote keyless entry (RKE) module used as a starter defeat/antitheft system, there's a plain 87a relay under the steering wheel column, taped to a...

Re: What is this difference between PC194 and PC175 bulbs?

When HIDs came out, reports of thefts of these factory hid units were around $2500 to replace. Dealer lots were seen with missing hid headlights. Now, aftermarket hid kits are as low as $15 per...

Re: Crank, No Start on "new" '93 SL2 (77k!!!) UPDATE

^ Thanks. I have to ask as I don't keep up with some things.

Battery disconnect simply resets every pcm or ecm back to factory default settings. These defaults are mainly emissions defaults...
