Is it possible to swap door panels from a Gen3 SL2 to a Gen2 SL2...Found a really nice interior in a totalled out Gen 3 that I'm looking into swapping.

97 SL2 bought w/ 51k on the odo in 2002. 102200 as of today...I'm pretty sure the mileage would have been higher if I wasn't away from home so damn much.

There is also a fusible link located between the alternator and starter. These also go out and you should go ahead and test it out as well. This was my problem last winter when I returned from...

This happened to me last summer before I went on deployment. You can remove the trim bezel to access the switch and replace it with another one. Total cost to square mine away: Less than 10 Bucks...

When I get home from the Ship, I'll go ahead and and remove the battery and wire brush all the terminals and connections. If that doesn't work, I'll swap out that fusible link.

My 97 SL2 w/92k on occasion will stumble meaning the RPMs drop to around 100 RPM for 1 - 2 seconds then shoot back up to normal. Fuel level was fine at the time and air filter is good to go as well.
