I remember seeing the L series at the Toronto car show and being surprised that the display LW was a manual stick. I’m thinking that today these models would be rare, a made in USA wagon with manual...

Saturn in Kaohsiung
So, I'm visiting a Carrefour shop here in Kaohsiung, Taiwan and look! It's my old S series.
Of course, since it's Taiwan there's zero rust or corrosion to body or paint.

Yep, it was two fouled plugs. Codes read a misfire in two plugs. Changed all four plugs plus wires, with oil change. Car now runs great.

At 300,000 kms I replaced my 2000 SL2's head gasket. At that time we also replaced timing chain, chain tensioner, AND polished all the valve seats.
The latter above reduced my oil consumption...
