Re: 96-99 knock sensor wanted

Yeah, it's a long trip to a yard for me. I am happy to pay some extra $ for a fellow Saturn owner to pull it and send it to me.

Thanks for all the responses! I have tried Rockauto and all the GM parts sellers online with no success. I could not find an original on ebay, either. I was hoping someone would have an engine lying...

Yeah, it may come to that. It's a 3 hour drive for me, though.

Anybody got a knock sensor?

I am looking for an original knock sensor for my 1997 SC1. The one from my 99 SC2 will turn off the CEL, so apparently the knock sensor from any S series (1996-1999?) will work. None of the...

Anybody got a knock sensor?

I am looking for a genuine Saturn/ACDelco knock sensor for my 1997 SC1. If anybody has a spare or is willing to pull one off a spare engine, I'd like to buy it. I took the one off the 97 SC1 to fix...

Re: Stumped with PO327

Today was ground cleaning day. I took apart and cleaned every ground I could find and added an extra ground for the tan/white and black/white pcm ground on the back of the block. All the grounds were...

Re: Stumped with PO327

From the pcm wiring diagram, I see a tan/white ground and a black/white ground. Does anybody know where these wires are actually connected to ground?

Dizzy Stumped with PO327

So here's my PO327 saga:
My 1999 Saturn SW2 just turned over 200k miles. I "refreshed" the engine at 181k with new bearings, new rings, a brief deglazing, and drilled piston drainback holes to...

Re: Perpetual high brake pedal effort

The dealer said the brakes were fine. Really, they have been fine the whole time I have owned the car. I have driven other cars with soft (to me) brake pedals, and they all stop just fine, as the SC...

Question Perpetual high brake pedal effort

We bought my wife's 1997 Saturn SC1 in the fall of 1996 , and it has been a great car! My only complaint with the car is that (to me) the brake pedal feels a little soft, and it takes a lot of pedal...

Re: SC1 with PO300 makes my head hurt!

I feel no misfire at all while driving, but when the check engine light starts to flash and the cyl 1 and 4 misfires begin to accumulate, both O2 sensors stop switching and go to around 880mv. at...

Re: SC1 with PO300 makes my head hurt!

I checked the white wire between the icm and the pcm, and it has continuity. I also tried running a parallel jumper wire. I then swapped in another crank sensor. No change.
I have already swapped...

Re: SC1 with PO300 makes my head hurt!

Re: SC1 with PO300 makes my head hurt!

I have battery voltage on the pink wire with the key on, and the b/w wire is a good ground. I think I will check continuity of the white wire from the pcm to the module next.
