Re: Mystery of the recurring check engine light

I went to a junkyard and got a few new coils (really cheap oem) all in good shape and replaced the 1/4 coil and same problem. The only thing I can now think of is the fact that it only happens in...

Re: Mystery of the recurring check engine light

Little update. This morning it snowed about 3 inches, went out and started the car, no problems, no idling bad. Went inside for 5-10 min, came out to a fairly warm car and the check engine light was...

Re: Clutch shudder in 1st gear?

I too had read about engine mounts, especially the fact that if you do them you do oem or nothing, as autozone/Napa frowny upper mounts can be worse than the one I'd take off the car lol. I will try...

being my engine is the 1.9L sohc, I am not even sure if it has this purge valve you are speaking of. If it does, where would it be and would cleaning it be similar to a egr valve? thanks

Re: 2001 sl1 idle problems after highway driving? HELP ASAP!!!

Being the problem is so intermittent, and only happebed once after long highway travel speeds, I'm not too sure how to test that problem. It is is idling fine and I cover the iacv hole. It should...

Re: 2001 sl1 idle problems after highway driving? HELP ASAP!!!

So far I've only had the car for maybe 400-500 miles total, and it appears as if the oil has let gone very far down. Maybe 1/4 quart? I'm not sure if egr or iacv is something I should check and how...

Thank you for your reply. Do you think there is an order of price and easiness to replace that I should start to go through some things? Please let me know, thanks in advance!

Re: P0341 code?

I gapped the plugs to the correct specs just about 4 days ago. How do you check resistance on wires and how much should the resistance be?
