2008 Aura XR with 138K likely Transmission problems ?

I been reading up on this model it seems some of these cars had problems with the wave plate at 40-75K this particular example has 138K my question is what is the likely hood of the problem occurring and is there a way to check to see if its already been serviced
I haven't seen many examples of this car with over 120K on them and have the problem
btw the guy is asking 2000.00 for it

You may be able to take the serial number to a GM dealership. It's possible they may be able to look up the service/recall history.
A scan for trouble codes could point out any current problems.

But on whether what she pursues is what she likes.
We evaluate the success of any person not on material conditions, and what she gives up is what prevents her from realizing her dream.
When you want to get promoted, you have to sacrifice more of your private time to work.
I very much agree with this sentence, life and work, we choose to work because of life, and work makes us neglect life.
