He shared some interesting sales insight with the paper, shedding some light as to how the two different Astra body types and trim levels are selling in Connecticut's Greater Hartford area.

Automotive.com recently profiled the 2008 Saturn Astra and wrote it was a "breath of fresh air in the American market." They liked how the Astra offers "sporty, European driving characteristics, exemplary fit and finish, reasonable pricing, and style for miles."

Last month, MPG-o-Matic spent a week road testing the 2008 Saturn Astra. Significantly, during their test the Astra exceeded the EPA estimated fuel economy figures. In addition, they applauded how the Astra "shines on twisty back roads, where it is a sheer joy to drive," they wrote. "The optional sport suspension package and low profile Michelin tires provide an abundance of grip as the Astra moves effortlessly through the twisties. The handling is clearly a notch above much of the competition."

Vue from Saturn Enticing

G. Chambers Williams III from the San Antonio Express-News liked the versatility of the 2008 Saturn Vue XR he recently tested. "There is lots of interior storage," he wrote in his review, "including a large, illuminated glovebox, a slide-out storage bin under the front passenger seat, a rear cargo system with upper and lower side rails, and storage under the rear cargo area."

Hybrid Vue Delivers Space and Economy

Gina Spadafori from DogCars.com recently drove a 2008 Saturn Vue Green Line, and paid particular attention to how dog-friendly the fuel-efficient Saturn really was. "You can't beat the bottom line," she concluded at the end of her review. The Vue provided her a "week of hauling dogs, supplies, and gear with no problem and little gas used."

Shahed Hussain from the Velocity Journal reviewed the 2008 Vue Green Line hybrid and was impressed by the improvements Saturn made to the all-new model. "The second-generation Vue offers richer materials, tight panel gaps, and an uncluttered, attractive design," he wrote in his review.

Jacqueline Mitchell from Forbes.com recently compiled a list of the ten best vehicles for families. Leading the field in the large crossover category was the Saturn Outlook. Clever storage compartments, easy access to the third row, and impressive safety features were cited as some of the Outlook's best attributes.
