Owner Story: Road Trip Once Again Brings Best Ever Fuel Economy in 2007 Aura XE V6

From AuraDrvr89: Once again this summer, my family and I traveled to Cedar Point in Sandusky, Ohio. It's a spectacular amusement park, for those who are not familiar. Last year I averaged about 33mpg on the way there, and wanted to see if I could beat it this year. We drove from my home in western New York straight into Sandusky. It's a fairly straight run.

The World’s Most Loyal and Dedicated Saturn Family

Al Clapsaddle

Earlier this month, Al Clapsaddle's wife took delivery of a brand new 2009 Saturn Aura XE — their family's 47th new Saturn! Significantly, someone in Al's family has owned at least one Saturn from every model year since 1993. His journey with the "different kind of company" began when his son started looking for his first new car.

Owner Story: My Gold 1997 Saturn SL is the "Best Car I Have Ever Owned"

From MikeNW: I presently own a 1997 Saturn SL. I bought it new on July 7, 1997 with 7 miles from Saturn of Escondido, California. At the time, I wanted a small car with air conditioning that could hold my bicycle. After looking at Hondas and Fords, I found the Saturn. But I wasn't a big fan of Saturns back then.

What Does Saturn Have in Common with the Energizer Bunny?

Energizer Bunny

Mike Morrissey, from the Saturn Communications Team equated Saturns to the popular advertising character, the Energizer Bunny, in a blog written on ImSaturn.com yesterday. Why you may ask? Saturn discovered through a research study conducted by R.L. Polk that 83% of all of the Saturns ever sold in the United States are still actively registered. You may remember that nearly two weeks ago Saturn celebrated the sale of their 4 millionth vehicle in Traverse City, Michigan: a black three door Astra. Of those 4 million vehicles, 3.3 million of them are still in use.

Maryland Owner Gives Her 1993 Saturn SL a Nail Polish Paint Job

Ben Wojdyla from Jalopnik by way of the Maryland Gazette: Jill Bell noticed a scratched spot in a dent on the hood of her 1993 Saturn and decided to cover it with nail polish before the onset of winter caused it to rust and spread. When it held up to the elements, Jill, an avid quilter, wondered why she couldn't cover the entire car in a quilt inspired paint job of the same stuff.

Owner Story: Saturn Fan for Life

On April 18, 2006, I was traveling with my two kids (a nine year old son and seven year old), and we were hit broadside on the passenger side of the car while making a U-turn by a Ford Ranger truck traveling at least 45-50 mph. Needless to say, my 1997 SW2 that I affectionately called "Smoke" was totaled. Most importantly, my kids and I walked away with no major injuries.

Owner Story: A New Saturn Family

We purchased our new Aura a month ago. I never dreamed that I would own a Saturn, but the new Outlook and Aura caught my eye. Our daughter and son-in-law were having problems with their 2005 Chrysler Town & Country. I started to do some research on the Outlook, and was impressed with what I read.

Owner Stories: Having Fun with My 1998 SC2

Well I walked in to my local used car lot and asked the salesman for a car that was sporty, got good gas mileage, and was front wheel drive because I needed something better to drive in the snow than my Camaro Z28). He showed me a variety of imports, and I test drove a few of them including an Eclipse Spyder, Jetta, and Civic to name a few. They were all overpriced and had poor performance.

Owner Story: Happy to Have My Saturn Back

Two days before my son Wesley's 16th birthday, the events of my life were about to dash a dream. It was October 5th 2002, and there was something that I had always wanted to do for both my sons: present them with a car, wrapped in a big bow, on their respective 16th birthdays.

Owner Story: Good Cars that Will Last for a Long Time

I'm on my second Saturn now. My first one was a 1997 Dark Green SL2 four-door sedan. It wasn't in the best condition when I bought it (from CarMax) in December 2003 with 83,000 miles on the odometer, but I liked it and decided to put performance brake pads, rotors, and plug wires on it.
