Spied: 2010 Opel Astra Spotted Sans Clothing

Ray Wert from Jalopnik: The next-generation 2010 Opel Astra, otherwise known as the 2010 Vauxhall Astra and sometimes going by the name 2011 Saturn Astra (if Saturn survives), was spotted completely undisguised in Germany outside GM's testing facilities. The revised Astra is scheduled to go on sale at the end of this year and although a styling prototype, the vehicle caught in the camera viewfinder clearly shows off the Astra's new lines on the outside.

Motor Authority reports by way of Auto Motor und Sport that GM plans to build the next-generation Saturn Astra in the United States. In an article discussing the future production plans for the Opel Astra, the website wrote that the new Astra "will be available in coupe, three and five-door hatchbacks and wagon, and possibly a sedan, and is expected to first go on sale in Europe in early 2010."
