L Series V6 Alternator Replacement

L Series V6 Alternator Replacement

I removed the alternator from the top of the engine area between the large black cable harness and the firewall. The harness clamps on firewall need to be released first to allow some slack. Further slack can be created by lifting the TCM harness up & out of the firewall (as shown on the left side of photo). The large cable harness can be pulled out further to allow the alternator to EASILY SLIP through.
