Removing the guide pin requires a 14mm socket and a bit of leverage to break it free. It's not torqued highly just usually rusted. Once you take this off place it somewhere where you know what it is, it is a different size then the upper bolt. Remember to regrease the lower part of the bolt (not the threads) when reinstalling.
