It had 6 miles on it when I drove it off the lot, it had over 107,000 when I traded it in for a brand new Eagle Talon in 1997. It never occurred to me how similar it is to the SC1. Sat, 05 Mar 2016 15:30:23 +0000 Geo TB

by: Felixthekat

Description}: Installed and fully functional. For anyone who has stated that this modification alone will make no difference in power, I beg to differ. I have been driving for over 30 years, I have been driving this car everyday for almost 6 years. I have had OCD my entire life, sometimes it is severe as though everything around me was in crazy detail. The slightest variance in idle, I notice right away. If it does anything other than what I am used to, I make note of it and taking it around the block the 1st time was like the first time you drove a go-kart as kid, Holy Sh*#! I worked on laser guided navigational systems for the Department of Defense for almost 20 years as a QAE, Programmer for multi-format metrology measurement systems, electron beam deposition coating just to name a few, point being: I know what is and what isn't. Initially I mounted it the way the SC1 TB was setup to pull from the bottom but I ran into an idling problem so in my idiot mind, I reverted to the original configuration to eliminate that as a possible issue. Turns out I had the wiring wrong and I had so much time into it at this point, I pressed on as it was, backwards like me. Why? Why not? 4th: Shove some vacuum line elbows in. 5th: Slide a small piece of tubing into the diameter and connect to elbow fitting. 6th: Cut flush.
