And we're the first to show you the vehicle, Saturn's new SUV based on General Motors' Lambda architecture. GM is still hush-hush about the upcoming SUV, but our sources tell us that it may eventually replace the Saturn VUE. Production should start in the third quarter of 2006, with an on-sale date expected that fall, just one year from now.

Currently the GM-Daewoo partnership is creating a new crossover vehicle built on GM's Theta platform, which will be sold in Europe as the Opel Frontera and in the U.S. as the replacement for the current Saturn VUE.
