Saturn Mulls 300+ hp Aura Red Line

Automotive News reports that Saturn is considering building a Red Line version of its upcoming Aura midsize car - compete with at least a 300 horsepower powerplant. "It makes sense to get there, and we're talking about proposals that could make it happen," Gene Stefanyshyn, the previous vehicle line executive for GM's Epsilon architecture told Automotive News.

Earlier today, BusinessWeek named Saturn's new Aura sedan the "Best Production Car $21,000 to $25,000" on display at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit.

Saturn today released the first visual rendering of its upcoming sports roadster and announced that the two-seater will carry the name Sky. The rear-wheel drive Sky will showcase new design cues that will appear across Saturn's future products as the brand renews and extends its portfolio over the next 24 months.

New Saturn Names Revealed

A credible source has revealed to SaturnFans.com the names of three upcoming Saturn products: Signal, Evoke, and Outlook. Neither Saturn nor GM have officially confirmed the names, but a quick search of the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office's online database shows that Saturn has in fact registered trademarks for them.
