Default Cold air intake removing stock air intake

Nevermind... I got it.

Tight little thingys!

Hello,

Please tell me how to remove these GM/Saturn clips that hold the intake together.

Unlike the AEM cold air intake I purchased, which has a circular clip with a screw, very easy to loosen/tighten and remove.

My Saturn has some type of clip that goes around the intake… how do I get the stock GM/Saturn clips off?

I can squeeze them together, slicing my fingers open in the process, however; I cannot get them off.

I have squeezed, twisted, pulled, pushed, pounded, tugged, but… I cannot get them off.

Thanks,
AC
