Default WBO2 questions

Exhaust goes on Monday!!!!!! Yippie!!!!

I have a transmission, flywheel, clutch upgrade after that.

Then this winter I make the electronics dive. MDS Dis-2, Apexi S-AFC 2 and WBO2 senser.

Finally I get the N20.

I'm gunning for 200 on N20 and close to 150 N/A. There are other small mods happening through these larger ones, but they are large changes, mostly handling.

This question has to do with the WBO2 sensor though. Does this sensor replace the one directly behind the cat? Or should I have a seperate bung put on my exhaust this Monday and have it plugged for the upcoming WBO2 upgrade?

people will argue this one out

if you buy a pre heated sensor then most will reccomend that you place the sensor at least 18 inches from the head...

also depending on the year it may also fit in the stock o2 in the header...thats where i placed mine.

150 crank not wheel.

AEM Cold Air intake
OBX header
2.5 inch Magna flow cat
2.5 inch mandrel bent exhaust
2.5 inch muffler
Apexi S-AFC 2
MSD DIS-2
Lightweight flywheel

And at some point
A shaved head with a P&P job

I'm saying 150 SAE corrected at the crank. This is not that far out. I won't be disappointed if I only hit ~140HP. But I think it could be possible to find the engine at 150. The cold air, exhaust and S-AFC 2 will probably net me an Ok amount of HP on the high end; I'm expecting around 12 total, but who knows. The flywheel should free some power. The MSD probably won't do too much. I had a 6AL on a very modified engine once and enjoyed the slightly smoother idle it gave me. Shaving the head to up the compression and a P&P job will certainly get me into the 150 range.

Considering the setup will closely match the old 21HP package sold by SPS I think I should be playing in that league. That would be awfully close to my target of 150.

I know to get to 200 I have to use a power adder of some sort. But 150 is not out of the question for N/A on a stock bottom end.

Add in a decent set of cams and you might just hit 150 crank with that setup. The Safc II will definitely add a nice seat of the pants feeling alone. Also, what year is your car? If you have a 3rd gen, opening up the exhaust ports on the head will free some power for sure. Those stupid things are about the size of my pinky, if that.

Team SCR reached a tic over 150 on their ITA car with stock parts a shaved head, a slightover bore and some cam timing. They were using a stock exhaust manifold and no engine management it apears.

Found info on the SDA car. They got 147HP N/A at the wheels!!!!!; Pre cam tuning. That is amazing. Now they are running a hot cam, head, intake and most likely a built bottom.

But I'm not talking at the wheels, I looking at crank. I knew I wasn't crazy when thinking 150 crank isn't unbeleaveable without doing bottom end work.
