Dazed Your Outlook expectations are missing

Well now, I have been very busy the last few days, and when I returned, I expected to hear all about the new Outlook.

But there is not much here. Is this a bad sign?

Nah, not a bad sign, just not a whole lot of information.

There's only so much that can be gleaned from a teaser photo on the Saturnfans home page and a spy shot of a heavily camouflaged vehicle featured at www.thecarconnection.com last week. For good reason, GM's keeping pretty tight-lipped on the Lambda crossover specifications. I'd expect the Outlook to make its debut at either Los Angeles or Detroit (NAIAS) next year.

I see that the Sky's taillamps have found a new home, though.

Remember when details about the Ion and L-Series were leaked out? Mayhem on the message boards.

I think this silence may be a good thing....

I'd say the silence is more along the kind of silence that came with the Relay. I think most current Saturn owners could care less about metal bodied gigantic quasi-Saturns. There are only 2100 posts in the Relay forum, and several people have stated that the dealerships have gobs of Relays for sale.

Subaru Outlook ?? Outback?? I can just imagine the confusion How close will it look like the others sharing the same platform? I liked poly. Now that Saturn will be basically using the same GM parts as the other divsions and no poly they are not much different.

Im going to make a guess and say it might have looks along the lines of the Chevy HHR that just came out. Its a bigger SUV and it has a different look.

The HHR is based off the same platform as the Chevrolet Cobalt (and Saturn ION). It is of a similar size to the Chrysler PT Cruiser (although it is a little bit longer). The pictures of the HHR make it look bigger than it is in real life.

The OUTLOOK will be bigger than the VUE.

From the pictures kinda lookslike an SUV and maybe trying to compete with the Pilit or the Highlander and the new Pathfinder

Bingo! Outlook will offer 7-8 pass. seating and hopefully attract import buyers that feel the VUE is just too small. Plus (hopefully) there will be a choice between a 6cyl and 8cyl powerplant to trump the imports.
