Default Horn Dead, Its Not The Fuse , Cant Find Horn

hi all my horn stopped workingthe other day (not whyle in use)
and heres the deal,
the fuse is blown but i replace it and the fuse pops instantly,
,
now i have a 96 sc2 with the flip up headlights and cant find the damn horn to troubleshoot the problem.

so i just put a new fuse in and it pops , without making any sound ,just pops the fuse , im so lost on this one,oh my handy chilton book doesnt say anything about the horn , where it is , or nothing about it in the wire diagrams.
thanks

Wiring diagrams don't give you the location of components, just how they are wired.

On my SL2, the horn is just in front of the radiator in the middle of the car. It is nautilus shaped, although it is difficult to see the shell-like shape while it is installed.

There is a howto for replacing the horn. You might want to browse through the howtos and see what they have to say.

2002 SL
Default Re: Horn Dead, Its Not The Fuse , Cant Find Horn

On my 2002 SL the horn is located forward of the left front tire. It is accessed from underneath. There may also be a horn relay in the circuit that may be shorted to ground.
