Default Help with Ion Lube Job

I have a 2005 Ion.
For a lube & Oil change, the Saturn brochure describes lube as lube chassis, lube suspension and lube steering components.
My Saturn dealer is ~1 hour drive away.
I would like to lube the car myself as I used to lube my old car only at the wheel grease fittings.
Could someone instruct me where the chassis, suspension and steering lube parts are and how to lube them?
Also are other lube places (eg Canadian Tire, Jiffy Lube, Walmart, etc) competent to do a good lube job?

There are no suspension or chassis lube points on the IONs or nay other Saturn for that matter. It is a hold over from the "OLD" days when cars did have the need for lube. So for the oil change all you really need to do is to change the oil and reset the oil change light. Of course a good iinspection of the underneath of the car is more than a good idea along with setting the tire pressure.

Appreciate your expert advice.
I will be questioning my Saturn dealer regarding their 2005 ION maintenance brochure performing lubrication for chassis, suspension and steering components.

The reason that is said is if for some reason say you do get an aftermarket joint that does require greasing it will be taken care of. Also at our dealership all door hinges are greased.

some shops (even big name one) you have to remind them to grease yours. almost everywhere you can get a oil changer that assumes they don't need it.

my response; "you see those little nubs sticking out of the ball joints? those are zerks, grease 'em."

Just as a little sidenote, Ive had a bad experience with Walmarts Tire and Lube people. The people that work there are not very smart(at least it seems to me). I would recommend going to another place other than Walmart.
