Greetings all!
I was wondering if you could help me. I decided to spruce up the inside of my 2002 SL1 by using Armor All. Unfortunately, I was not thinking and used it on my dashboard. Is there any way to remove the Armor All without damaging the dashboard? Thanks in advance! MacMaroon

I've found that Fantastik seems to remove the slippery effects of Armour All and not have any adverse effects on your dash.

I prefer to keep mine Amor-Alled and as slippery as possible to prevent people from putting anything that could spill on my dash board!

Vinyl or leather cleaner, possibly.
Or simply buff off the excess with a soft cloth. Eventually it will soak in , evaporate, whatever it does.

First, do not use Windex on plastic.
Get yourself a good plastic cleaner. Go to the local autoparts store and look at the interior cleaners. Find a good vinyl/rubber/plastic cleaning wipe, just a cleaning wipe not a dressing or protectant. That should remove just about anything from the surface, it might require some elbow grease to get rid of it, but it should come off. Also, if you want to make sure that you get rid of everything use a damp terry towel and wipe down all of the surfaces, then wipe it down again with a dry terry towel to make sure that you removed everything. ... It's the glare from the sun that gets me.

The thing is, ammonia and alcohol can dry out and cause cracking and fading of plastics. Windex contains both ammonia and alcohol.

When you get it clean try 303 protectant, its not greasy like AA. It drys and won't attract dirt. I just started using it and have been happy with the results
