2004 ION-3 Sedan
Default Saturn At The Canadian International Auto Show

Saturn as usual had a presence at the Canadian International Auto Show in Toronto (which closes on the 27th if any Canucks want to check it out). The two things that stood out are:

- The Bonneville Salt Flats Ion Quad coupe was on display
- GM's Performance Division had a tricked out Red Line Quad Coupe with some (as the kiddies say) sick projector beam headlight.

I posted pictures of them a few minutes ago.

It was interesting to note that there was no Sky or Aura models present, but Pontiac had a Solstice which from what I understand a Sky variant.

REWARD EXCELLENCE!

I guess I try to revive this thread despite the fact the autoshow is over. here are some of my thoughts from the show:

- why couldn't anyone sit in the cobalt ss????? I know some people who are import snobs actually be impressed with a "lowly" chevy....

- that new honda truck is junk, doors were rattling, interior that felt like my parents ford sport trac... yet i hear everyone saying around the that because its a honda its good

- everyone seemed to have a saturn bag to hold there stuff, even my import snob cousin did

- liked the barrage of ford gt40s there and the ferrari 330 there

- the g35 coupe isn't that great of a car in terms of visibility and interior quality (its not a big deal in a normal priced car but to me for 50k canadian it should be a nicer car in that regard)

REWARD EXCELLENCE!

Apparently they took the SKY to the Academy Awards to show it off there. Great exposure. The Aura was never going to be at the show as far as I know. I found our display rather ho-hum, but we have seen some show room traffic as a direct result of the Auto Show.

I was pretty disappointed in the Saturn display. a whole lotta nuthin going on. I was really hoping the see the Sky in person.

Good show otherwise tho, lots of great new products this year. Only car that really wowed me that I would be able to actually buy was the new Eclipse. Sweet ride!

Totally NOT impressed with the G35. People complain about cheap Saturn interiors, but cripes for $40K CDN I expected MUCH better.

REWARD EXCELLENCE!

I noticed that Saturn was not part of the production on the GM stage.

The show was great like it always is. I really like the Hummer H3

The Cadillac display rocked!!!!!!!!!!

The Mustang was everywhere

Parking is pretty expensive

REWARD EXCELLENCE!
