Opel Speedster

Dear Saturn (GM),
Build the Opel Speedster as a Saturn please!!! It already uses the Saturn 2.2L. I would buy it and know others would too. Put an optional 3.0L Saturn V6 into the SC3 or at least a turbo/supercharger SC3. Don't put it in the SL. Make a L-400 coupe with a 5-speed manual supercharged 3.0 L V6. The SC2, especially in yellow, is the better looking than any other car under $67,000. Make the SL and L more sporty and aggressive looking. Make Saturn continue to take risks. Saturn’s focus should continue to be innovation. Good job with the SUV. It looks great. Good idea on the V6 all wheel drive and CVT for the 4 cylinder. I love Saturn. I am your biggest fan. Is there anything I can help with or talk to someone about? I will work for free. I might even to pay to have some input. Grin. Saturn needs a Saturn Speedster. Great idea on putting lightweight plastic body panels on all Saturn’s. It makes the cars lighter so a smaller cheaper engine is needed. It makes the car handle and brake better. Make the SC3 and Saturn Speedster for all us young tuners out there. Make Saturn be the American tuner to compete with the Honda Civic, Acura Integra, Toyota Celica, and Mitsubishi Eclipse. Keep the cars light. It is a trademark of Saturn. The Opel Speedster, grin, with a Saturn engine goes 0-60 in 5.9 seconds. Bring it to the U.S. as a Saturn not a Pontiac. Give the V6 a supercharger for the SC3, L-Series, and SUV. Be risky or fall back like GM has in market share. Make them recognize you as the best part about GM. I can't believe the strangled Saturn for cash and more models to save Oldsmobile and Buick. Don't they get it, the two lines are the same in the their target market. They should have combined them. Their lack of cash has caused Saturn to lose its’ innovation edge. Please get it back. Tell them to innovate and focus on the new young Baby Boomlet that is coming of age to buy sport compact cars. Sell them a great SC3 or Speedster. I beg you. Let the SL go to those that want transportation and a good buy with a 4cylinder.

Please build the Opel Speedster as a Saturn please. I read about it in Motor Trend. It said it might come to the U.S. as a Saturn or Pontiac. Push GM into making it a Saturn. It already uses the Saturn 2.2. I would buy it and have other friends that are very interested in it too. Make the Saturn Speedster for all us young sports car enthusiast that want a lightweight sports car with out the import badging. Make it in Yellow please. The Opel Speedster with a Saturn engine has a 0 to 60 of less than 6 seconds. It would be even faster with Saturn's lightweight plastic body panels. It even looks like a Saturn. It looks like and fits better with Saturn than Pontiac. Bring it to the U.S. as a Saturn not a Pontiac. Pontiac has the image of big and oafish that plain doesn't appeal to young buyers (future buyers!). They push big sports car, with big engines, big horsepower, and big weight. If it doesn't fit than you must acquit. (Give it to Saturn. The sports car of the future is a small sports car that is very light with a supercharged 4-cylinder. Saturn is already there with the SC2. Saturn already has a strong foot hold in that market, while Pontiac failed with the Fiero. Be risky or fall back like GM has in market share. Make them recognize you as the best part about GM.
